For two nights prior to Christmas, a local church hosts a live nativity pageant. For us, the tradition of attending the pageant, first started 12 years ago when we first moved to Spruce Grove, and tonight we kept that tradition alive by bundling up in our winter gear and taking in the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The little town of Bethlehem comes to life through the simple yet elegant set, the costumes worn by the shepherd’s, wisemen, Mary and Joseph, and live animals. It is a great tribute to an important part of our history and a great way to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
If you haven’t seen it, be sure to check it out tomorrow night!
A great celebration!
