A few days ago I came across an intriguing link on Facebook that mentioned something about ‘Instagrammable Walls’ in Edmonton. While I admit, I’m not big into Instagram, I love pictures and because of that, the blog post had me hooked.
Like other cities around the world, artwork fills the walls of many buildings. While the meaning of most pieces is unknown to me, I appreciate the creativity, uniqueness and bold colors. Artists bringing what was once a dreary canvas to life in a powerful way.
The four of us set out to the area of Whyte Ave tonight to start our Instagrammable Wall adventure. We weren’t really sure what to expect, but I’m happy to report we had a great time. Most of the artwork is hidden in back alleys and had I not done my research beforehand, I’m sure we would’ve missed many.
Here are a few of our favorite Instagrammable Walls from Whyte Ave.

Thank you to Linda Hoang and her ‘Guide to Instagrammable Walls in Edmonton’ for introducing my family to our new pastime!
